THE FOUNTAINS OF BIOT
The museum holds a very beautiful collection of indoor fountains in glazed ceramic.
They were made in the 18th century up to the 20th.
Some very elegant ones with a delicate decoration lead you to believe that their making, for a potter, was an opportunity to let his talent unfold freely.
In doing so, he was an artist rather than a craftsman. The fragility of the fountains explains their scarceness.
